Summary

JobPilot is a browser extension that helps you fill out job application forms faster. Your personal data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to use an AI feature. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information.

What Stays on Your Device

• Your profile/resume data (name, contact info, work history, education, skills)
• Application tracking history
• Extension settings and preferences
• Your API keys (if you provide your own)

What May Be Sent (Only With Your Action)

• AI Features: When you explicitly use match scoring, cover letter generation, resume parsing, interview coaching, or referral strategies, relevant text is sent to the AI provider. If you use JobPilot Pro, the request goes through our backend. If you bring your own key, it goes directly to your configured provider.
• License Validation: When activating a Pro license, your device ID is sent to our backend for verification. No personal information is included.

Third-Party Services

If you use your own API key, data is sent directly to: OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google AI. Please refer to their respective privacy policies.

No Advertising or Tracking

We do not display advertisements, use tracking cookies, run analytics, or sell data to third parties. Our business model: you pay for Pro if you find it useful.

Permissions

• storage: To save your profile and settings on your device.
• sidePanel: To display the form detection side panel.
• Host permissions: To detect and fill forms on supported job application websites only.
